PYPs By the Numbers

Since 2009, the PYPP has recruited, selected, trained, and placed 160+ young Liberian leaders in nine classes with a current cohort (Class IX) of 23  fellows recruited for Class IX in 2020. The new cohort (Class IX) fellows are placed in 11 government ministries and agencies and three (3) private sector institutions: Conex Petroleum Group, Liberia Cement Corporation, and NAYMOTE Partners for Democratic Development. The organization has achieved near gender parity at 44% female and 56% male, with representation from all of Liberia’s 15 counties. 76% of graduate fellows continue to strengthen the capacity of more than 25 ministries and agencies of the Government of Liberia today.
